The Hessians are some of the meanest and toughest soldiers the world has to offer! And the Brits hired them to fight the fights for them! The Brits are cowards, and they can't even fight their own battles and need to hire mercenaries to fight us. Want to know why they hired them? Because we are a threat to them! We need to keep fighting and hold our ground, our homes!
Why are we facing them?
Because the Brits and Hessians are buddies, thats why!

How It All Started
The Continental Army started in 1770, after the Brits massacred some men at Boston Commons. After that, many colonists have been hiding and storing weapons. Then, in 1775, was the first battle where it became war. At the Battle of Lexington Green.

The Battle of Trenton was one of the most flawless victories that the Continental Army had. Led by Commander-in-chief, General George Washington, they crossed the Delaware River and attacked the Hessian forces stationed there.
